第一句话应改用现在时，Everyone has a childhood and so do I. 后面连着的三句话都不对，建议改为：I spent my childhood with my grandparents in a small village. 下面一句改为：They were my friends and very important to me. 接下来的到第一段结束没问题。 第二段中最后两句话合并为一句：I loved blue because it was like the color of my grandmother’s clothes.
第三段中，was able to 改为 could。He got me a best wish 改为He taught me, “ Actions speak louder than words. “
