（二）水体污染
水是怎样被污染的呢？原因主要有两种：一是自然的，一是人为的。由于雨水对各种矿石的溶解作用，火山爆发和干旱地区的风蚀作用所产生的大量灰尘落入水体而引起的水污染，这属于自然污染。向水体排放大量处理的工业废水、生活污水和各种废弃物，造成水质恶化，这属于人为污染。而人们通常所说的水污染主要是指后一种，而且也是最主要的。
