Hi!I'm Kangkang.My granny lived in Beijing for more than forty years. She has seen the changes in Beijing herself.
In the 1960s,the living conditions in the city were poor.The roads were narrow and there weren't many ringroads.Usually,a big family was crowded in a small house.Many families couldn't get enough food and only a few children had the chance to receive a good education .Life was so hard that people had no time or money to enjoy leisure activities .People kept in touch with their friends and relatives far away mainly by letter or telegram.

大家好，我是kangkang。我的奶奶在北京住了40多年，她亲眼见证了北京的变化。
在60年代，城里的居住条件是很差的，道路都很狭窄，也没有很多的环城路。一般来说，一大家子人挤在一个小房子里居住。很多家庭都吃不饱饭，只有很少的孩子能够得到好的教育。生活很困难，所以人们没有钱和时间去进行什么休闲娱乐活动。人们主要通过写信和电报来和远方的亲属联系。
