I never forget how proud I felt when I did a favor for a foreigner on the Great Wall. It was cold day during the winter vacation. When I,with visitors from my hometown, enjoyed the fantastic view of the Great Wall, a middle-aged foreigner came to me and ask if I could tell him about the wall. Encouraged by the guide, I displayed him a vivid history of the Great Wall in English. The man felt pleased and kept expressing his admiration, saying that it was a marvelous wonder in the world.I felt proud at that moment,not only because I was helpful to a foreigner in my country.It was also because I, as a Chinese, was proud of our splendid history.
