Students should have LIFE after school
No, students should have LIFE after school, not additional classes or loads of homework. They should be able to do things with their families, meet with friends, or pursue their interests and hobbies. If a student likes to paint, for example, they should have plenty of time to do it.
--------
Time is needed for other things
Outside of school students should be involved in outside of school things like sports, dance, swimming, gymnastics, music, scouts, martial arts and so on.
They need time be physically active, to ride bike, swim, rollar skate, run around and play.
They need time to interact and play with siblings and friends to develop their social skills.
They need time to read, draw, make things. Create, chat with parents.
They need time to do chores, help out with family expectations, get their first part time job and learn life skills.
They need time to eat, sleep, bathe, rest and recreate.
-------------
Education is a great thing, but there can be too much.
Education is a wonderful thing, and i know i love to learn, but i am a teenager and like most, school is a pain. Non the less, learning is an extremely important thing in our lives. If this question is saying that it should be mandatory then no. There is a limit though, i know when school ends i immediately go to sports, which i spent 2 1/2 hours doing, then i don't get home until 4:45-5:00 pm. Then i have to cook dinner, clean up after dinner, and then i have to finish what ever homework i didn't get to finish at school. Lastly, i have to take a shower get ready for the next day and go to sleep. When i'n not doing all of that i have to option to take college classes, which i do. If this question is saying it should be an option then yes, because there will be those kids to take advantage of that, but others just don't have time for additional classes.
