英语短文改错，帮忙改下！

In autumn of 1935,when I was young man, I was traveling in the north of Indian.One evening ,after hunting in the forest all day,I returned to the place which I had put up my tent.It was getting dark ,but I was walking along a road. Suddenly I saw two eye glaring at me from among the trees.What can I do ?Should I jump into the river and help to save my life by swimming ? I looked at back. In the river there had a big crocodile waiting to welcome me with its mouth was wide open.

1.young man 可数，加a2.traveling错了，应该double l，即travelling，进行时态可以用的，一般改错不两个都改变一个的。3.which 定语从句用错，应是at which=where4.我总觉得but 用得也怪怪的，我觉得应该换个连词像while什么的，没有特别的转折，但加了也不能说错，看题目是几分好了，再判断要不要改。5.eye可数，变复数eyes.6.from去掉，不能两个介词同时。7.can过去时could8.look back。即去掉at9.had变was,there 后面不能有have10.mouth后面定语从句，加which或that11.open形容词，副词修饰。widely open.
