The traditional feast of Thanksgiving is Turkey, which some people call "turkey day"". But for today, the typical American family, if expressed by the artist Thanksgiving picture has become a multi-level and some amazing "Turducken" - that is, Turkey, duck and chicken combination of new words, new combination which is all American Thanksgiving dinner.

Chelsea, Chelsea, Christian,, Kristi, and, Michael, Burns, and Mike Burns are third marriages, three of their children are from the previous marriage. (New York Times)
According to the "New York Times" reports, expert on the American family structure and the evolution of the rate of change in recent years for the pleasure of the family to the surprise, predicted that shift often exceeded and even subvert these experts several times before the report.
Reported that Chelsea town of Michigan (Chelsea) and Christian Mike Burns (Kristi and resident Michael Burns) is married for the third time, four children three of them are from a previous marriage.
Andrew J. Cherlin, a professor at Johns Hopkins University, says the mix and change in intimacy is creating complex families on scale we've never seen before. "If you think this is the end of a great change, you're wrong. We're still in the middle of the change."
As families change in the United States, researchers comb through censuses, polls and historical data, and conduct field studies of ordinary family life. Several new themes have been identified.
They said that despite the widening income gap, families are more equal in society. Families, in terms of race, ethnicity, religion, and type, are not only more diverse than they were before the half generation, or even before the start of the year.
More and more blacks marry white people, atheists combine with the Baptist, and there are more men looking for men, women looking for women to be partners for life, and Democrats and Republicans getting married are no problem. Good friends also join the voluntary family movement, share medical advice, will, and even adopt each other.
Single people continue to be alone, even proud of being a "one family" - and more generous and cultured than what they call a "greedy marriage family.".
"Single and alone" ("Singled Out"), the University of California Santa Barbara visiting professor at DePaul (Bella DePaulo) said, many studies suggest that single people than married couples are more likely to talk with friends, neighbors, siblings and parents.
Of course, that doesn't mean they'll be single forever. Stephanie Coontz College (Olympia) Evergreen State Olympia State University scholar Conz (evergreen) said that now the family form and life arrangements much more than in the past. Many people want to experience several different kinds of life.
At the same time, the long-term is still a source of American strength to maintain the marriage of the parents and children living together with the old family, but the family seems to have become highly educated elite is patent, many miles away.
