I first went to Harrow in the summer term. The school had the biggest swimming pool I had ever seen. It was a good joke to come up behind a boy, and push him into the pool. I made a habit of this with boys of my own size or less.
One day I saw a boy wrapped in a towel on the side of the pool. He was no bigger than I was, so I thought him a fair game. Coming secretly behind, I pushed him in, holding on to his towel so that it would not get wet. I was surprised to see an angry face out from the water, and the boy swam quickly to the shore. I fled, but didn't succeed.. He overtook me, pulled me hard ,and threw me into the deepest part of the pool. I soon climbed out on the other side, and found myself surrounded by a crowd of younger boys. "Do you know what you have done?" they said, "It's Amery. he is in Grade Six. He is champion at gym, he had won his football award. "
I was frightened and felt ashamed. How could I know he was so strong when he was wrapped in a bath towel and seemed so small? He didn't seem pleased at all, so I said, "My father, who is a great man, is also small. "All the other boys burst out laughing , and then they criticized my rude behavior and also tell me how I had better be careful in the future, it was then that all was over.

我头回去哈柔是在夏天，那个学校的游泳池是我见过的最大的。有个事挺好玩的，你走到某个光着屁股的男孩后头，然后给他推池子里去。我干这事上了瘾，总找那些比我块头小或者差不多的男孩。
一天我瞧见一孩子，毛巾裹身，站在池边。他不比我更壮，所以我觉得招他没问题，我悄悄地到他身后，推他入池。他举着毛巾免得弄湿，那张在水里的愤怒的脸可把我吓着了，他几下划上岸，我拔腿就跑，但是没跑了，他抓住我，猛地把我扔进池子最深处，我从另外一边爬出来，发现被一帮小孩围着，“你知道你干嘛了吗？”他们说，“那是阿米瑞。他都6年级了，他体育最好，足球获奖。”
我吓得不轻，而且觉得躁眉搭眼的。“他当时裹在毛巾里，没看出块儿来，我哪知道啊！”他瞧着还是很不满，我赶紧加上一句巨天才的话：“我爸爸也是个身材不高但很猛的人物。”听到这话他乐了，我又说了几句这事办得不地道，将来我一定更小心之类的话，于是这场小风波平息了。

我第一次去Hallow（学校名吧- -就不翻译了）是在暑期的时候。这个学校有一个我至今见到过的最大的游泳池。突然出现在一个男孩身后然后把他推下泳池会是一个很赞的玩笑的。我就养成了把和我一样大或者比我小的男孩纸推入泳池的习惯。（这- -）
有一天我看到一个男孩裹着毛巾站在池边。他并没有比我大的样纸，因此我就想这是个公平的游戏。慢慢的来到他的背后，就把他推了下去，紧紧地抓住自己的毛巾才没让他淋湿。在他浮出水面之后看到他的如此生气的表情我感到很惊讶，然后他便迅速的游到岸边。我试着逃走，但没有成功。他过来抓住我，很用力的推我，然后把我扔进了最深的池底。我不一会儿便爬到了另一边，发现我被很多的小孩纸包围了，“你知道你做了些神马吗？”他们说“那是Amery，他是六年级的。他在赛场上可是个冠军，他已经赢得了足球类奖项了。”
我感到很害怕很羞愧。他裹着一条毛巾看起来又这么小巧我哪知道他这么强大啊？他看起来以前都不高兴，所以我说“我的父亲，一个伟大的人也同样看起来很渺小。”所有的男孩都扑哧笑了出来。然后他们就批评我的粗鲁的行为并告诉我以后该怎么做更好些，那件事就这么画上了句号。
