how to protect chinese traditional culture
With the accelerating pace of economic andtrade globalization,cultural globalization is unavoidable. Therefore,variousforeign cultures have intruded into our lives, affecting our ways of living andthinking, especially for our younger generations.Facing these situations,itshigh time that we put an end to this trend.
Numerous individuals are blind to theprotection of traditional cultures.For my part,I have three suggestions toimprove this phenomenon.Foremost, our government must build our nationalspirits and the sense of national pride.Because Chinese awareness of protecting traditional culturesis weak after the cultural revolution. For example, we can spread the ancientdisplays which are in the museums and exhibitions all over the country toimprove the basic knowledge of heritages. And the government also can use massmedia tools to introduce our traditional culture.
Moreover, our young must know more abouttraditional cultures.But our teenagers just know some alien festivals andcelebrate them cheerfully,while treating our own festivals as rubbish.Becauseof ignorance,as we all know,Dragon Boat Festival has become Korea'sheritage.When we lost these heritages,we become angry.However it's no usecrying over spilt milk.So we must focus on the education of Chinese historyfrom now on. We youths should learn this traditional things not only fromhistory books in class but also from our parents and grandparents.
Last but not least,our parents should paymore attention to education.They should set a good example for children andcelebrate traditional festivals with them.What's more,they also should tell thedetails to us from their childhood.
Consequently,I think we should learnforeign's advantages and get rid of their disadvantages. I believe that only when we Chinese protecttraditional cultures together can we improve this situation.Besides traditionalcultures will also have a bright future.
