Good afternoon, everybody,
I’m very pleased to be here to talk about my Englishstudy concerning reading comprehension. As we know, English is one of the mostextraordinarily powerful communication tools all over the world. It has beenplaying an important part not only in our study but also in the variety ofaspects for the development of our society including education, technology,finance, hospitality and so forth.
I have been studyingEnglish for many years, and today I want to share something useful with youabout my English study, especially English reading comprehension, my favoritepart of English study. In the past, I always went to library to borrow Englishreading materials, such as English books, English magazines, journals, periodicalswith various different topics ranging from the newest breakthroughs intechnology to the hottest social issues. Doing this do help me increase the interestin English study. What I can learn about in this process is not only oceans ofvocabularies but also tremendous meaningful information to widen my horizon ofmy knowledge. Another essential experience is that I always exerted myself tofollow the strict schedules about reading English materials and urged myselfreading relevant English materials during the given time, which can help meread more effectively and get the vital information as fast as possible. As aresult, I ended up forming a good habit of reading English. I do hope those experiencewould be useful for your English study.
In the future, I will continueto stick on my English study and urge myself read every day. I just remember agood saying from Mayun, a remarkably successful business man, “If you have adream, you have to go for it. Practice and practice, and never give up, yourdream will come true maybe not today or tomorrow, but must be come true the dayafter tomorrow”. Those words inspire me a lot. I believe everyone could obtain the goodresult about their English study if they do really want to. So let’s do it now.
