Ready for action
This is the third day of our expo volunteering service. On the first day, we made friends with each other, and we were focusing on smile, politeness and attitude, also we did struggle through the extreme hot weather, we were so nervous that our clothes would get wet with sweat in only a few minutes. The second day was all about getting used to the surroundings and finding out different kinds of information. Our leader told us yesterday, that the third day is a big day for us, because after today we have to “spread our wings”. It means that today is the last day for her to teach us the daily affairs, and how to be a professional expo volunteer. We have learned a lot from her. She is really an expert in every field, like she knows all the things the visitors ask and she can even show them the quickest way and the best solution, even more she doesn’t even feel tired during the hot days. I wonder, how long does it take for me to be so professional and energetic like her. I personally take part in English translation, though it is not a hard job, I did face some obstacles.

We are all happy and responsible volunteer. No matter how horrible the weather is, how tough the tasks are. We will have fun and keep working hard. We wish that all the visitors will have a great time in Shanghai.
