Last Sunday I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends. We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Wall's history. They thanked us a lot and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese. This experience let me know how important it was to learn English well.

2.A famous Story
I am very happy to tell you something about a famous strory named Cinderrela.It's about a beautiful girl. At first, Cinderella is living happily with her mother and father until her mother dies. Cinderella's father remarries a cold, cruel woman. The woman has two daughters. When the father dies, Cinderella's stepmother turns her into a servant in her own house.But with the help of the witch she attends a wonderful ball and the prince falls in love with her. They finally marries and lives a happy life for ever.I love this story very much.

3. Summer Holiday
I really had a fantastic and meaningful summer holiday. I did my homework every day so I finished doing my homework ten days before the new term. I also played table tennis and basketball with my friends every day. I sometimes went to movies and went to the parks with my friends. I surfed the internet, read books and watched TV every evening. I visited my grandparents and helped them with the housework, too. I helped my parents clean the room and cook meals. I also take a tennis course and now I can play tennis very well.The most important was that my parents and I went to Hannan Island and we spent a week there. I really had a wonderful summer vacation.

In my ophfion, examinations are one of the important activities in school life. I have gone through all sorts of examations since my primary school I have tasted the flavor of happiness and sadness.

Before examinations, I always have a hard time and don't know what to do. During examinations I feel nervous and sometimes my mind becomes blank. Only after exaninations does the world seem to be bright again and am I brimming with vigor. We often complain that our teachers make trouble for us on purpose. But it is not true. The fact is that examinations are just a way to help us do better in our study.

我认为考试是学生生涯的重要活动之一。从上小学起，我经历了各种各样的考试，体验了考试的酸甜苦辣。

3 This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains and fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.
I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed much interest in English. They could read and write well， but they could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening and spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very much needed in the countryside.（呵呵，个人暑假日记，参考一下吧）

My Favourite Book
I enjoy reading different kinds of books, but "Harry Porter" is my favorite one. the story is very long but I am interested in it. Harry was such a brave and clever boy that he dared to fight against powerful enemies.
His Z-shaped scar and magic stick brought me into a magical world. In fact, the fiction story is so meaningful that I can learn a lot from it.
I think it’s the best book I’ve ever read.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope
