Hi everyone, My name is Cheng Tienan. I'm 13 years old, and Tony is my English name.
I'm a new student here and I'm very pleased to have this opportunity to join you all.
My hometown is Songyuan, a beautiful city in China. I'm a lively boy with many hobbies, such as singing and reading. I also love sports, particularly football, basketball and swimming.
It will take some time for us to know each other well, but I believe we will soon become very good friends. I will hold a small party at my home this weekend, and I hope all of you could be there and have some fun.

Far back to the year 1986, a premature baby's crying was heard from one of the operating theatres while he had been living only twenty nine weeks inside his mother's uterus. That was me, born at the heaviest moment of that cold rain. Dear pediatric nurses sent me immediately in to an intensive care unit for observation until I was sure to be able to live properly out of that warm place.
I was named by paternal grand parents as Christopher R Dickens while exactly the very first time I entered their sight, with a lovely nurse holding me inside her arms, and my mother's gynecologist around. Just the same as most of the other kids, life before entering primary school was simple and happy. Toys and dolls biult up my whole life these years.
Life has changed ever since school became my second home. Primary school was quite a pure place inside my memory. Kind female teachers and naive schoolmates became part of my life since then. Of course, our dear headteacher would never present to us as a nice lady whenever she appeared with full of anger. She had shown all of her students such a fierce appearance which, naughty childern should always be crying of her! Thank goodness that nobody need to tolerate her bad temper ever since the end of primary six. To be honest, she looked rather pretty indeed.
Life in secondary school was no longer so naive as in primary school. Teachers became a lot more strict than ever, just for one purpose, to achieve our best exam result, not any of the other results at all. Hence we would be able to enter high schools of our own choice, in order to aim for a suitable course inside a well known university. These stress days were still too relax compare to days and nights in high school.
High school was the one place where all students study until midnight or even later. Rarely could any exception be heard in this case. Highly competitive society of our dear nation enabled such thing to occur in high schools all over China. And the most immediate consequence we faced was severe lack of sleeping, perhaps plus certain psychological problems. Such unhealthy life finally ended when university became where I belong to, rather than that high school of pressure.
Nowadays, life became more complicated, however with more dimentions and appearance ever since I entered into university. Here has made meaning of life clearer to me than ever. As long as a bright with realistic meaning is waiting for me to work on it, why not?
