You don't doubt it, you don't guess it but you just know it. You know it's right and you know it means something to people. More than the content people are interpreting, people analyze your body language, tone, expressing speed and so forth. You'd have to spend time on reading related psychology books. When you have the ability to analyze these behaviours, you are so much closer to be a confident person yourself.
