1.2 Scope
Input of the application will be the 1200+ images with a .jpg extension. The naming convention of the images is account number (9 digits and zero filled) followed by a 000 through 999 extension to allow for the association of multiple images to one account number (allowing for joint owners, alternative ID’s, etc).
Below are a couple examples of the original image names:
• 123456789_000.jpg
• 001234567_000.jpg
The output of the application will be those images with .jpg extension. The new naming convention is image type (4 types of images) and social security number. The image type is a prefix letter identifying the type of image:
• Driver License – I
• Social Security Card – S
• Passport – P
• Green Card – G
For example, if an image is a passport and the SSN is 123456789, the file name will be P123456789.jpg.

All original images should not be destroyed, but placed in a “Processed” folder for the user to dispose of when appropriate.
The application will need to be a windows application. It needs an app.config file for user to specify the MySQL database where the member data is located.
Before started, the application needs user to specify 3 paths, one for the “Raw Images” where all the raw images are, one for the “New Images” where the renamed images will be put, and “Process Images”, where the original image will be placed after it is renamed.
The application will provide user with a Start button to start the process. When Start button is clicked, the application will display the first image in the “Raw Images” folder.
The application needs to display the image one at a time. Using the account number in the image file name, the system will retrieve the SSN from the MySql database that contains the member table (This involves a lookup in cdatadcc.membermaster.MemNo and cdatadcc.membermaster.SSN0, need to do a left trim of the member number from the database and the account number from the file name when comparing in the query). There might be more than one SSN that matched to the account number (joint account owners).
The application will display the account number, a dropdown list of SSN and a dropdown list of the 4 image types below the image, so that user can select the right image type and the proper SSN for the new image name.
The application will also display a Rename button. When the Rename button is clicked, the system will copy the image from “Raw Images” folder to “New Images” folder and rename the copy in “New Images” folder, it then will copy the image from “Raw Images” folder to “Processed Images” folder and delete the image from the “Raw Images” folder. And the application will display the next image from the “Raw Images” folder.
The application will also display a Skip button. When skip button is clicked, it skips the current image and displays the next image in the “Raw Images” folder.
