I have a good friend.Her name is Sally .She is an outing girl .She always plays sports and she can run very fast .She likes shopping .She goes shopping every Surtarday afternoon .She also studies well and she is one of the best students in our class .Teachers like her very much .She usually share her happiness with me .And she helps me get out of the trouble .I am glad that I have such a good friend .

Chinese New Year is my favourite festival. It usually comes in January or February. It is the most important festival for us Chinese. Before the Chinese New Year, we are busy shopping and cleaning our houses. My parents always buy me some new clothes. On Chinese New Year's Eve, we have a big family dinner. We usually eat some traditional Chinese food. It tastes delicious. After dinner, we often watch New Year TV programmes till midnight. We also set off beautiful fireworks. I can get some red pockets with money in them from my parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts. I can buy what I want with the money.
We always have a good time at Chinese New Year.

中国的春节是我最喜欢的节日。它常常是一月或二月。它是中国人最重要的节日。春节之前，我们忙于购置年货和打扫房子。我父母总是给我买一些新衣服。在除夕晚上，我们有一个大的家庭晚餐。我们总是吃很多传统食物。它们很美味。晚餐后，我们常常看春节联欢晚会直到半夜。我们也要放鞭炮。我可以从我父母和爷爷奶奶，叔叔阿姨那儿得到一些红包。我可以用它们来买我想要的。

Different people have different favourite places, and my favourite place is the sea. I like her very much.
Whenever I feel sad or happy. I would go to see the sea. Because I would like to ask the sea to share my happiness or sadness.
When I feel sad. The sun was n’ t in the sky, and the sky was so gray, and my legs were very heavy. At that time, I would go to see the sea. T he waves are talking and giving ideas for me. T he sea would be a good listener and listen to me carefully. M y sadness went away quickly. S o, I thought the sea is wonderful.
When I feel happy. I would go to see the sea. But, only at night. Why? Because I can see so many stars and a bright moon in the sky. T he waves are singing and dancing for me. I t ’ s so harmonious. A t that time, I thought the sea is the most beautiful.
S ome one told me that, the sea is terrible. B ut, to me she is my best friend, my favourite place forever!

1.Back to School
It’s the first day of school. Mike wants to go back to school. He wants to see his friends. He wants to meet his new teacher.

Mike gets up early in the morning. He washes and eats his breakfast. Then he rides his bike to school. He sees his friends on the playground. He plays hide-and-seek with them. One day,a monkey drove his car near a lake.Sudden,he saw a tiger under a tree.The tiger saw him,too.The tiger ran very fast at the monkey.The monkey was very afraid and he and his car fell into the lake.The monkey couldn't swim and he shouted.A rabbit came and he jumped into the lake.The rabbit swam to the monkey but did not help him.Both of them shouted for help.Luckily,a giraffe came along.He was very tall.He helped the rabbit and the monkey.

3.Mike’s Family
Mike comes from America. He is twelve. His father Mr. Brown works in a big shop in Beijing. Mike has a sister. Her name is Kate. She is only four.

It is Saturday today. Mike’s family is all at home. Mr. Brown is sitting in a chair and reading today’s newspaper. Mrs. Brown is out of the house; she is watering the flowers. Is Mike with his mother? No, he is cleaning his new bike. Where is Kate? She is in her room. She is playing with her cat. What a happy family!
