When Britain and American people show their praise or celebration to chinese like us,we may feel happy in our hearts, but we also need to be modest in words and action for a while. It may be the result of being modest which we chinese people think as a traditional virtue, under which if we don't do so,we may think we don't treat others respectfully.

When we Chinese receive praises or congratulations from people from England and American, we inevitably would express our humbleness though we may be very happy in our heart. This is likely due to we advocating that being humble is a good virtue and we reckon that if we do not do it this way, we will be showing disrespect to others.
