If you believe in fate, does that mean you believe in hope?

If you believe in fate, whatever happens, happens. you have no control over what happens. If this is the case, surely any bit of hope is purely false. and that rather than fight it, we should just embrace it

If you believe in hope, there is 'no fate but what we make' - and that we are lead to believe that only we, ourselves, have enough power to influence our own.

If something goes 'wrong' for the one who believes in fate, technically its not 'wrong'. its just how it is. They accept it and move on. I can't understand why someone could consistently attribute events that result in a serious deterioration of mental and possibly physical health. It's like, a sissy's way out of everything. "Yes well, because its fate, I'm not going to do anything. It's meant to be'. We are powerless. (in contrast to the whole 'We are powerful beyond measure' thing)

If something goes wrong for the one who believes in hope, it results in a more severe decline in health. And the only thing that keeps them going, is the very hope that something will go there way. It is the very thing they hold on to, to keep them going. And that's it. They have control over what they do. They can choose to let it get to them until it rots away there soul until they are nothing but a rotten corpse. Or, they can choose to just have fun, learn from it. No regrets. Sometimes they very essence of achieving the latter is frightening, for the what can only be described as fear. Fear of a different outcome. Fear of a different result. The uncertainty is what makes us doubt ourselves.

“One is a creator of his own fate.”We can be master of our own fate. Whatever happens is a result of our deeds. We all have a desired ending to our life. It's totally up to us to work towards that.

I always like to think that I have complete control over my own actions. If I were to do something, it's because I am reacting to an instance or situation and not because my path has been plotted in advance. The choices we make determine the lives we lead. We all share a purpose deep down within that allows us to do either the right or wrong thing.

Therefore I believe that "there is No Fate But What We Make".
