John Brown is 【a】London taxi driver who 【love--loves】 going to the theater. Last week his mother
gave 【her--him】 two tickets for a play. The tickets were for Sunday evening. Then John read
some reviews of the play, which all said it was a 【terribly--terrible】 one! He wouldn't go to see a
play that no one liked【去除 it】. So two hoursbefore the play started, he left the【 ticket--tickets】on the
back seat of his taxi. Perhaps someone who 【wanted see--wanted to see】 the play would take them.
However, 【while--when】 John went back home, the tickets were still there. In【去除 the】
fact, there werefour tickets on the seat. Someone 【has--had】placed another pair of tickets on top of
them!
