1、again同back的意思相近，但用法不同。
2、back与动词连用时，作为副词，常指退回到前一个状态，或是从与之前相反的状态返回去，而again不可这样说。

4、again与动词连用时，表示“重复，再一次”。

2、I stood up, and then I sat (back) down (again).back可以用在动词和主语之间，而again则不可以。
3、Take back your money.Count the money again, please.(NOT Count again the money.)
4、again and again或time and again指“反复地，频繁地”，now and again指“有时，不时”，only now and again指“难得地”。
