I am glad to receive your letter. From your letter, I know you are facing the problem on how to adapt to high school and how to make friends. I have the similar experiences like you, and I suggest you just need to speak up loudly, don't afraid, there is noing to worry about. One basic criteria to make friend is to talk more with your classmates, and talk to them the topic they are interested in, then listen carefully what they said and make commment about it. As for adjusting high school, I know it is a new environment, different faces and people who are from different races and backgroup.
