Internet blogs are becoming more and more popular these days. The main reason for why it is used by large quantity of people is that the Internet developed so fast and people tend to be familiar with it. Besides, the pressures people burdened in their daily life are larger and larger, which made Internet a way for people to release their pressures from work or their complex relationships with people around them.
It's assertive to judge it directly whether the Internet blogs are beneficial of harmful. Every coin has two sides, and there are also advantages as well as disadvantages when we analysis the problem in two different perspectives.
Firstly, our society becomes more competitive and people usually felt distressed by the difficulties they confronted with. In order to release their pressure and comfort their nerves, people choose to try to express what they were going through by writing a blog so that they could be understood by others. Secondly, getting in touch with their friends by means of writing an Internet blog are both convenient as well as efficient. Sometimes people would rather to write than to say since it's more indirect and soft.
As I mentioned before, there are not only benefits but also some disadvantages of this phenomenon. By using the Internet blogs to express themselves, people get less chance to communicate with others face to face, which lead to the estrangement around. their "circle". When they are depressed, they would rather go online instead of meeting a friend to talk about what's happening. In that way, the connections between people become fewer and fewer, until they couldn't rely on their old friends any more. Bit by bit, people don't trust each other any more.
Internet is definitely one of the greatest inventions in the world because it has shortened the distance between people and made many impossibles possible. We should use the Internet in the way that helps us to contact each others instead of estranging from each other. Blogs provide us a platform of communication, what we should be doing is to strengthen the ties between us and contact others more often, rather than letting this tool become the excuse of the lack of communication.
