Harvard University had been founded on October 28th. It hadn't official name initially. In the winter of 1637, an England Cambridge University graduate immigrated to the new continent. His name was John Harvard. He lived in Charles Town, whose dream was to become the assistant clergyman of Charles Town Church. What a pity that he died of lung disease on September 1638. Before his death, he set a will to contribute half of his own property(about 780 pounds) and all books(about 400) to the new college founded beside Charles River of Cambridge.
