Dear Mr. Tyler,
I'm Li Hua, a college student from Xinhua University,majoring in Chine,like reading all kinds of books and making friends with people of all ages in my spare time. I have the idea of reading is important and necessary for overyone so I'm writing to apply for membership in the Sisyphus Reading Club, hoping that I can read more books and communicate with people about them.
I prefer to reading books and magazines that are interesting and fun aloud to other students in my class and communicating with them.Last year I won first prize in the Collede Student's Reading Competition held by our school.So I have more enthusiastic about reading and hope to become membership in our club.
Now I want to know some more details on the club. First of all, what should I need to offer for being membership of our club?Secondly, as a student,I have some classes from Monday to Friday,whether it has some appropriate activities for me to take part in or not when I have no class or on weekends.Last but not least,if it's convenient for you to give me an application form,I will appreciate for you very much.
