我现在正在学新概念第二册，43. 44课有一句有一句不明白现在请教下大家。In 1929, three years after hisflight over the North Pole, the American explorer, R.E. 你的问题有多又乱。1。新概念没错。three years after his flight over the North Pole时穿插在主句之间的，你的思维才过于陈旧，英语中倒叙是很正常的，况且“successfully flew over the South Pole for the first time In 1929”中没有主语，也为错。按原中文翻译回来也应该是The American explorer, R.E. Byrd flight over the North Pole three years after ,he successfully flew over the South Pole for the first time in1929.
2.if....will，if 表假设，will...表结果，那你该了的那句英语就该是“如果飞过这些山头，飞机就会上升1000英尺”？新概念只是把IF翻译为只有而已。
3she was taking 是解释risk，可能省略了that
4.with有很多意思，比如进入...之中。在...之中的意思
5catch up with 是固定短语
