what引导的主语从句主要有两种用法和意义：

1.what+不可数名词/可数名词复数形式（通常不能是单数可数名词）

用法和意思相当于“the”，表示特指。

如：

What books I have will be donated to the library after I die.

The books I have will be donated to the library after I die.

死后，我的书都将捐给图书馆。

What possession I have will be yours.

The possession I have will be yours.

我的财产都将是你的。

2.what+little/few+不可数名词/可数名词复数形式（通常不能是单数可数名词）

表示微量，与特指结合起来，就是“虽不多，但全部”，意为“仅有...都...”。

如：What little free time he had during his last years was spent on writing.

他仅有的最后几年的空闲都花在写作上了。

What few pairs of shoes he has have been worn out.

他仅有的几双鞋都磨穿了。
