A College Degree Means More
Most college students see a degree as the path to their future job or career, but there are many opportunities related to college that aren't limited to employment in your major.
One of the greatest experiences provided by college is exposure to new ideas. In college, students can be introduced to these concepts that are a bit more abstract or intellectual for every day entertainment.

Many a successful business was put together by two people who happened to meet in college. Friendships made in college are less random than who you happen to work with or live near. People who are extremely similar decide to sign up for the same classes or join the same social groups. With access to experts in the field and high quality equipment, these friendships often turn into cooperative exploration and business ventures.
Also, completing a degree is likely to open up opportunities outside of your major. Just because you've studied one thing doesn't mean that is going to be your only job for the rest of your life. The fact is, many employers use a college degree as evidence that a person is capable of learning whatever their job requires.
