English is wide-spread in our world, nearly everybody speaks some English, the universal quality of this language endows it utmost importance. When we have a job, it might not be in a place where the language is our mother tongue, but knowing some English can help adjust to the new work environment and help ease the pressure.

If one wishes to travel, and perhaps to a English-speaking country, then knowing English is an unquestionable quality. One needs English to get around the country and to perform many daily tasks, such as inquiring the whereabouts of washrooms and checking-in at a hotel.

it is proven through many studies that knowing several languages enhances the brain's learning capabilities. It not only improves one's logical reasoning skills but also enhances memory and learning capabilities. One can grasp new material quicker than others who don't speak another language.
