dear geoff,
(1) when i agreed that i should try working with the private
(2) teacher, i wasn't very hopeful that things would change.
(3) i expected learning at home to be like sitting in class, and
(4) you made sure that this isn't the case. i don't think I'll ever
(5) say that maths is fun, but you were always able explain it
(6) in a way that i could understand it. although the final
(7) exam was difficult, i finally passed it without your help.
(8) I'm written this note to thank your, and let you know my
(9) success. i might not have had the higher grade in the
(10) class, but i surprised me and my teacher, too.
