首句“胜日寻芳泗水滨”，“胜日”指晴日，点明天气。“泗水滨”点明地点。“寻芳”，即是寻觅美好的春景，点明了主题。下面三句都是写“寻芳”所见所得。次句“无边光景一时新”，写观赏春景中获得的初步印象。用“无边”形容视线所及的全部风光景物。“一时新”，既写出春回大地，自然景物焕然一新，也写出了作者郊游时耳目一新的欣喜感觉。第三句“等闲识得东风面”，句中的“识”字承首句中的“寻”字。“等闲识得”是说春天的面容与特征是很容易辨认的。“东风面”借指春天。第四句“万紫千红总是春”，是说这万紫千红的景象全是由春光点染而成的，人们从这万紫千红中认识了春天。这就具体解答了为什么能“等闲识得东风面”。而此句的“万紫千红”又照应了第二句中的“光景一时新”。第三、四句是用形象的语言具体写出光景之新，寻芳所得。

首句点明出游的时令、地点，下三句写“寻芳”的所见所识。春回大地，诗人耳目一新。正是这新鲜的感受，使诗人认识了东风。仿佛是一夜东风，吹开了万紫千红的鲜花；而百花争艳的景象，不正是生机勃勃的春光吗？诗人由“寻”而“识”，步步深化，统率全诗的则是一个“新”字。但泗水在山东，孔夫子曾在泗水之滨讲学传道；而南宋时那地方早已沦陷于金国，朱熹怎能去游春呢？原来这是一首哲理诗。诗中的“泗水”暗喻孔门，“寻芳”暗喻求圣人之道，“东风”暗喻教化，“春”暗喻孔子倡导的“仁”。这些意思如果用哲学讲义式的语言写出来，难免枯燥乏味。本诗却把哲理融化在生动的形象中，不露说理的痕迹。这是朱熹的高明之处。
作者背景
朱熹（1130-1200），南宋哲学家。字元晦（huì），一字仲晦，号晦庵，别称紫阳，徽州婺源（今江西婺源）人。他是宋代理学的集大成者，也写过一些好诗，善于寓哲理于形象，以《春日》、《观书有感》等较著名。

This is what I translated earlier, these are the articles which was written just after the broadcasting of spring day:
Jung Eun, whom Go Hyun Jung acted, is a character who voluntarily closes up her mind and even chooses not to speak because of the abandonment of her family, but opens up her mind again because of two men's different kinds of love. GHJ, when acting the role of JE, perfectly showed her own style of acting that was shown in her previous dramas as well as displaying her image. That is, rather than acting "Jung Eun", she showed the image of 'Go Hyun Jung'. She also showed great techniques of acting such as the resizing of her eyes at different suitable situations. She showed "Go Hyun Jung's Jung Eun", rather than the character "Jung Eun" herself. Due to this reason, in "spring day" the viewers, rather than getting empathy from JE, could only see a display of GHJ's acting 'skills'. This acted as a limit to her acting, and the fact that her style of acting hasn't met up with the modern day audience also acted as a problem.

In contrast, Ji Jin Hee got rid of his particular image and transformed with a 'complete' Eun Ho. EH is a character who loses his mother, and conflicts with his step brother and hysteric step mother, and loses his girlfriend. He is a character that does not show it on the outside but lives with pain on the inside.
From his debut drama "Juliet's man", he showed a lack of harmony with other actors, and inaccuracy in his words pronunciation . However, through a few movies and dramas, Ji Jin Hee showed a totally astonishing improvement in his acting skills. Ji Jin Hee in "spring day" was the most obvious actor who acted the best out of the three actors/actresses. He acted as if he was living the character of Eun Ho, and felt how EH would actually be feeling. The reason that viewers concentrated more on GHJ and JIS is also because of this reason. While viewers saw Eun Sub and Jung Eun as "JIS" and "GHJ", they saw "EH" as only "EH".

JIS was popular among many women. He showed much improvement in terms of showing his internal feelings on the outside, but his sterotypical acting that he showed in the drama "piano" and "what happened in bali" was also shown again, which brought much disappointment.
