英语否定句的基本类型：(1)一般否定句；（2）特指否定；（3）部分否定；（4）全体否定；（5）延续否定；（6）半否定定；（7）双重否定。

1、一般否定句：I don't know this. No news is good news. 

2、特指否定句：He went to his office, not to see him. 　

3、部分否定句：All the answers are not right. 　　

4、全体否定句：None of my friends smoke. 

5、延续否定句：You didn't see him, neither/nor did I. 　　

6、半否定句：We seldom/hardly/scarcely/barely hear such fine singing.

7、双重否定句： You can't make something out of nothing.
