With the development of the technology, a new friend has gradually come into our life and influence us every day. Our new friend's name is "Computer".
Thanks to the computer, we are much easier to communicate with our friends far away from us. It is also this dear friend that bring us into the Internet World. THis virtual world is full of useful information, home and abroad. Even if we don't go outside, we can still keep in touch with the whole world only through the computer. Moreover, computer makes a paperless office possible.
However, because of people's abuse of computer, it also becomes the source of crime and evil. Violence and pornography can be seen also in every corner of net world. Young people are often led astray for they are quite vulnerable to temptation.
All in all, computer is a product of progress and we should make good use of it. Only in this way, can computer be our good friend and good teacher rather than a bad guide.
