July, 2009: Sullinger has earned his reputation as one of the top players in his class because of his superior skill level and his basketball intelligence. His detractors question his athletic ability and his body type, but there is no disputing that this kid is a tough as nails competitor that wins and consistently produces points and rebounds each time he takes the floor. He understands the flow of a game and does a lot of the intangibles that lead his team to victory. He is advanced for his age group at knowing how to position himself in the post. He has outstanding hands and catches most anything thrown to him. Once he gets an opponent on his hip mark it down, it is over; he is either going to score, draw the foul or both. Sullinger is as skilled as they come at his position. He can dribble, pass and shoot with the effectiveness of a much smaller player which causes match-up problems for opposing teams. I love this kid's game and I am sure the Buckeye faithful will too.
