急求各位英语高手帮我解答下这句英语

我现在正在学新概念第二册49课，其中遇见这么一句英语有点不懂。a gust of wind swept the bed off the roof and sent it crashing into the courtyard blew 这句话是说：一阵大风把床从屋顶上刮了下来，把它摔碎在下面的院子里。这句话中的send it crashing into the courtyard blew不知道该如何解释，感觉不知道怎么翻译。我在网上看了下视频讲解，这里的好像有个什么固定搭配表示什么状态，好像是sent加什么的。还有这里的courtyard后面那个blew是不是用了定语从句，虽然没有用that which是不是做的表语。

blew是过去分词作状语，修饰the courtyard，意思是，在下面的庭院。不是什么定语从句。
