第一句中是“除了”不是“从了”

1. 从句还可以使用最简单的一般现在时，即：
If it stops snowing in the morning, we'll go to the park.

2. a house whose windows face east
= a house the windows of which face east
= a house of which the windows face east
= a house with windows facing east

3. by意思是“到...（时候）为止”，如果截止的时间是一个过去的时刻，则使用过去完成时。如：
We had learnt 5,000 words by the end of last term.

4. Mary married John ten years ago.
= Mary was/married to John ten years ago.
= Mary has been married to John (ever) since ten years ago.
= Mary has been married to John for ten years.
= Mary has been married to John as long as ten years.
= It is ten years since Mary married John.
= It is ten years since Mary got married to John.
= Ten years has passed since Mary got married to John.
= Ten years has passed since Mary married John.
另外，还可以把上述句子的Mary和John位置互换，有的句子也可以直接用Mary and John做句子主语，比如：Mary and John (got/was) married ten years ago等。
这样的句子可以写出几十个出来，恕我不能一一列举。
注意：marry sb，be married to sb和get married to sb中，只有be married to sb可以延续。

5. 1）The homework needs to be done with care.
= The homework needs doing with care.
2) They will be taken good care of.
= They will be looked after well.
3) Attention must be paid to your pronunciation.
= You must pay attention to your pronunciation.
以上句子当然也可以用其他方式表达，囿于时间，恕不一一列举。

6. so far = till now，意思是“到目前为止”，用在句中作时间状语时，句子要求使用现在完成时。如果句子是肯定句，还要求用延续性动词做谓语。
如： I've lived here for four years in Anhui so far.
到目前为止，我已经在安徽居住了有四年之久。
