thank you very much for writing to me and asking me to be your pen pal and your previous letter is something really quite inspring, not only did i learn many things about your hometown but about your lives there as well. today i want to introduce my hometown to you. and i do hope through this letter, you can have a deeper understandings about my country and our lives here too.
my hometown is a coastal city with a population of only 40thousands people. it was used to be a village which depends heavily on fishing as its living with no factories or anything that is related to the word 'industrialisation' at all but a few primary schools.in recent years, many foreigners came (and in fact they are still coming) here, not only made a lot of investment but built many factories as well. and just last year, a new wharf was built up to allow our city have more domestic tradings. meanwhile, our educational system is developing so fast and changed tremendously over the years that the first university was just built up in order to catch up with the pace.
hope after this simple description, you can roughly have a clearer understanding about my hometown and i would really love to get to know you and your country better. so till your next letter, bye.
