　　My proposal is to build a new sports area. It should be designed with soccer players, basketball players, and ping-pong players in mind. It should have a different section for each activity and be available to students all year round. I believe such facilities will meet our sporting needs.

　　My name is Li Ming, a sophomore majoring in International Trade. Having learned and lived on campus for nearly two years, I have found university life most exciting and instructive.

　　What happens around me every day has left a deep impression on me, but what strikes me most is the canteen service on campus, so that for some time I have had the keen desire to write to you, sharing with you my positive ments on and negative feelings about it. On the one hand, we are happy to see that the canteen staff has been sparing no efforts to guarantee food quality.

　　Mr. President,

　　I'm a student in our university. I am writing this letter to rm you of the canteen service on our campus.

　　Generally speaking, we are not content with the canteen service in our university. The reasons are as follows: First, although quality of the dishes is not bad, yet, most of the dishes remain unchanged all the year round. More and more students are plaining about eating the same food every day. So I think variety of the food is the most urgent problem that should be solved.

　　Second, the environment is not the same as we desire. Many students always talk so loudly that we can't enjoy our meals. So I suggest that there be some slogans on the wall to remind them to be quiet, and some soft background music to help us relax.

　　By the way the canteen workers are very patient in providing us with the service. So I think they should be given more incentive to offer us better service in the future.
