SAT的一道数学题

Luke purchased an automobile for $5000，and the value of the automobile decrease by 20 percent each year. The value, in dollars, of the automobile n years from the date of purchase is given by the function V, where V(n)=5000*(4/5)^n (五分之四的n次方). How many years from the date of purchase wil the value of the automobile be $3200？

我算的答案是2， 可是标准答案是3， 为什么啊？

原方程解出来n确实等于2，但是题目问买了小汽车以后多少年价格变为3200，应该是从第二年开始计算吧，也就是第一年5000元，第二年4000，第三年3200，所以是三年。
我想，这种题目一般是个人理解的问题吧…
