These Y-shaped moieties are fuither linked to a zinzag layer array and two neighboring layers stack in a tongue-and-groove fashion. This compound exhibits an intense fluorescent emission at 413 nm upon photoexcitation at 310 nm in the solid state, and its complete decomposition occurs in the range of 200-417℃.
