1 B to choose (one)from the five pairs 中的from 是指从中选
2 B 句意是站在盒子上，故用stand on
3 C to have invented 是不定式的完成式，表明动作发生在谓语动词动作is considered 之前。
4 B 现在分词作伴随状语。
5 答案应为to settle, with复合结构中用不定式表示将来的动作。
6 B try doing 试着去做，即试着用另一种方式；try to do 尽力、努力做某事
补充：建议二楼查一下语法书，不要误导楼主。
1 难道说这五双都要选择吗？只是从中选择一双而已。而且，在there be 结构中，主语后常用不定式的主动表被动。
5 with sth to do 复合结构作状语时，当句子的主语与不定式有逻辑上的主谓关系时，不定式用主动表被动。所以楼主给的第5题最好用to settle, 而不是to be settled.

一楼有些题答错了？

1.A。要用被动语态 to be chosen修饰前面的five pairs，是后置定语，意为“5双等待被选择的”——有5双可（被）选，所以我无从决定了。

2.选B。但句意并不像一楼所说，是站在箱子上。搬个箱子或坐或站或靠并没有暗示。实际上选B的理由是因为只有B是合理的。A。Stand by：袖手旁观，C.stand up：起立、站起来，D.stand with：同……相处，显然A、C、D的组合如果放在句中会很莫名其妙。故选B。

3.选C。这一题把is generally considered这几个词遮起来，答案就显而易见了。

4.选B。现在分词作伴随状语

5.选C。这一题和第1题类似。要用被动式。

6.选B。try pushing 不妨推推看
