为什么要用there are going to be？

例如There are going to be a few people here tonight.
我知道there be有就近原则，因为people是复数.但原句中的be究竟是什么，难道不已经是are的原形了吗？
且be going to =will 那么便是There will be a few people here tonight.
Be在这里指的难道不是are的原形吗？如果不是，那它在句子中是什么成分？有什么作用？
请前辈指教！

一、there be有就近原则，因为后接名词复数，be变are。There are going to be +名词复数是将有.,那么there will be也是将有。
二、There are going to be +名词复数 如There are going to be two meetings this afternoon. There is going to be +名词单数 There is going to be a meeting this afternoon. 这两句都可用there will be +名词单数/复数代替 典型题例:There is going to ____ a meeting next week A have B has C be D hold 简析 许多同学在审题时,易受中文思维的影响而认为"有" 应用have 或 has 或者认为"开会" 用 have a meeting 而误选 A 项 如仔细审题,可知该题是考查 there be 句型一般将来时的表达式 to 后应接动词原形 be 故 C 项正确.
