I am so glad that you are coming to China this July. I am writing to tell you all the details you eager to know.
In China, we always say "Ni Hao" when we meet others, means "How are you" in your country. Also , we should express our thanks when hearing about appraise from others. But different to your culture, Chinese seldom unwrap the gift they received at once. It is assumed impolite to do so. Finally, we are accustomed to use chopsticks, which you may need to learn. When have dinner with others, different seat has different rank, so you'd better sit where you are asked.
I think the best way of understanding another culture is to integrate with it. I am sure you will enjoy your visit. I am glad to be your tour conductor.

I have a pen-pal from the United States.He is a middle school student of junior grade 2.He is good at his lessons and he is a top student in his class. When I started to write to him,he asked me to teach him Chinese.It seems that he has lots of interest and he is interested in everything strange to him.In his letter,he tells me many stories in his country ,his school and his family as well.Anyway,he is a good boy.I love him and like to make friends with him.I hope that he will come to China some day in the future.Then,we can have a good time together.
