答案是it occurs错了，那应该改为什么？
3.In Alaska,the ground is riddled with ice wedge,many quite ancient,caused( by the cold earth cracks) and the cracks fill with water.
答案是when the cold earth cracks不理解啊，求解释

我来一试：

1、这里要记住遇到了比较级，一定要构成完整的结构，more than, bigger than, smaller than, cleverer than等，而且比较对象要一致。（死规则）

2、it 这里没有指代，但是不能改成they，会造成指代不明，建议还原： lightning strikes occur

3、看到选项后面有个and了么？and前后要平行，要和后面的结构一致，也就是
craks do sth的结构；这样的话如果单纯的改成the cold earth cracks的话，也会照成双V一句，Wrong-on句，错，所以要加连接词，when.
