英语作文《a person i admire》：
I believe that everyone has their own people to worship。Some people worship writers, some people worship musicians, and others worship scientists。
What I worship is my ordinary father。My father is a conscientious people's teacher。He often delays his own affairs because of students' affairs。
My father has classes in a Township Central Primary School。But because of work needs, he was sent to an insignificant village to support teaching for three years。
My father's favorite subject is mathematics。Every time I go to the "Hope Cup" national mathematics invitational competition, I have to find some new talents。
Because my father taught in the village primary school this year, and the school did not participate in the "Hope Cup" over the years, the school did not have any guidance books in this regard。
Dad went to the county and bought more than 20 guidance books for students with his salary。
And if students are willing to make up classes on weekends, dad will unconditionally promise。
But in my eyes, my father is not only a good teacher, but also a good father。I remember once I was hospitalized with a high fever。
Mom called and told dad。Dad hurried from Grandma's house to the hospital。
Just arrived at the hospital, my father's classmates called and asked my father to attend the classmate party, but my father didn't go for my business。
My father accompanied me to chat, taught me to do my homework, read books, and amused me until I was discharged from the hospital。

译文：我相信大家都有自己所崇拜的人，有的人崇拜作家，有的人崇拜音乐家，还有的人崇拜科学家，而我崇拜的是我那平凡的爸爸。我的爸爸是一位兢兢业业的人民教师，经常因为学生的事情，而耽搁了自己的事情。
爸爸在一所乡镇中心小学上课。但因为工作需要，被派到一所不起眼的村小支教三年。爸爸最喜欢的科目是数学，每到”希望杯”全国数学邀请赛都要挖掘一些新人才。因为今年爸爸在村小教书，而这所学校历年也不参加“希望杯”，所以学校一点这方面的辅导书都没有。
爸爸就到县城用自己的工资为学生买了二十几本辅导书。而且要有学生愿意周末补课的话，爸爸都会无条件的答应。不过在我眼里，爸爸不但是一名好老师，更是一位好父亲。记得有一次，我发高烧住院了。
妈妈打电话告诉了爸爸，爸爸急忙从姥姥家赶到医院。刚到医院，爸爸的同学就打电话过来，让爸爸去参加同学聚会，可是爸爸却为了我的事不去了。
爸爸陪我聊天、教我做作业、看书、还逗我开心，直到出院。我崇拜我的爸爸，因为他不仅仅是一名好老师，更是一位好爸爸。我为有这样一位爸爸而感到骄傲、自豪。
His early time, I mean before his forties, was smooth. He was born rich and had a happy marriage. After graduating from Harvard, he served in the Navy. At that time, he had already shown his remarkable leadership and since his uncle was a President, he would surely enter the political arena. But everything changed when he was 39. Healthy and strong as he was, he was attacked by polio after swimming, which caused the life long de formity in his legs. It was extremely hard for this ambitious man to face the misfortune. He was, of course, in a bad mood and wanted to give up all his dreams at first. Then, after careful thinking, he finally decided to bestir himself. He was not a man
easy to surrender. Again he took part in political activities and,at the same time, practiced standing up and then walking with a stick. Eventually this brave man won the battle against fate. He became the only disabled President in American history and unprecedentedly served four terms. All should be attributed to his fortitude.
"The only thing we fear is fear itself." This famous saying now has spread all over the world and encouraged lots of people.Roosevelt first said it, and as a great leader, he made all his people believe it. He practiced what he preached for he was surely a courageous person challenging the tradition. He formulated new policies to help his nation out of the Depression. He declared war against Fascists though most of the Congressmen opposed him at that time. All proved that he was right for his courage was not rash but based on careful thinking. "A leader is one who dares to dream, and then, dares to achieve."
He was great, but not great in appearance. He looked like a kind grandpa at the first sight. He initiated the fireside chat to express his ideas and explain his policies in a relaxed atmosphere on radio. He always smiled sincerely when speaking and listening. These didn‘t lower his prestige but made him amiable and welcome.
He is surely not a perfect man no one can be perfect.Every age has its hero in the forefront, just like Franklin Roosevelt a man I admire.

记叙了心目中崇拜的人——美国前总统罗斯福。文章主要围绕他的毅力，勇气和和蔼可亲三种品质来展开。首先，以平实流畅的语言表现了他得了小儿麻痹症后如何战胜自我，重拾信心，身残志坚，并史无前例地四次当选美国总统的顽强毅力。其次，描述了罗斯福总统带领美国人民向传统挑战，度过经济大萧条时期，并不顾多数国会议员的反对向法西斯宣战的巨大勇气。最后，又表现了罗斯福总统和蔼可亲的一面，他真诚的笑容和他以炉边谈话的形式通过电波与美国人民在轻松的气氛中进行交流。
还引用了罗斯福总统的名言，如“The only thing we fear is fear itself．”’“A leader is one who dares tO dream，and then，dares toachieve．”等，增加了文章的说服力。
但文章仍需在以下几个方面有所改进：一、段落之间缺少承上启下的自然衔接(transition)，意义的转折显得生硬，比较突然。恰当地运用衔接手段可以将几个段落有机地结合成一个整体。二、段首最好能有依据概括大意，点明中心的主题句(topic sentence)，使读者对每一段的内容一目了然。三、第二段对罗斯福生平的介绍稍稍过长，破坏了文章整体的结构平衡，不妨将一些与主题无关的句子删去，效果会更好。
I admire Jay Zhou ,he was a famous Chinese singer.He was born on January 18th 1979.he works very hard , he could write fifty pieces of music,and a busenissmen choosed the ten piece of them,made Jay Zhou's first CD,it was named Fan Te Xi.I think Jay Zhou is a talented singer,and I really admire him.
I want to be a singer in future like Jay Zhou
