It was about eleven o’clock in the night. The moon was covered by the clouds, and it was extremely dark outside. A man sneaked into a house on tip-toe, forwarding towards the wardrobe in the bedroom, in which he thought the old house owner would hide her possessions. Suddenly he heard something clanking. He stopped, only to find a black cat running through the window. He stepped silently, but another sound occurred to his ear, “um, um, I do not like it.” The man got stiff with great fear.
“I must have been noticed.” He cried slowly.
“Um,” The old woman responded.
He became more terrified, “will you call the police?”
The old woman murmured, “Um, um.”
He nearly cried out, “It is the first time I have done such kind of thing, would you please forgive me and let me go? I will never do this again.” “Um...”
“I definitely will never do this again.” The man tried to move backwards.
“Go away... um...”
“Thank you! Please do not call the police! I will never do this, never!” the man dashed out of the house, and disappeared in the darkness.
“You dog, go away...away...um...um...um...um...” the old grandma snored in her sweet dream, with an ugly dog never back.
