首先，你这个是讲故事，应该要用过去式，把你文章里的时态都换过来吧

例如the custom needed to check.......then the custom found there were

he was in doubt, so he asked the guy about the pants......it was one piece for a day.

he asked the french, "why?" "what about Saturday and Sunday?" ..."not wearing any"

就这些错误了，主要还是时态的问题。
