personally, i think it would be really difficult to join another crowd out of one's own .
however , if it happens , on one hand ,one can enlarge his or her circle of acquaintances .besides , it can help acquire more knowledge about the world . on the other hand, one may feel uncomfortable or uneasy when joins another crowd, because he or she may be confused about what others are talking about !
就自己而言，我觉得要进去另一个社交圈很困难。
但是如果进去了，可能可以帮助扩大社交圈，也可以对社会了解更多。 可能也会让人觉得不舒服和不自在，因为你可能根本听不懂其他人都在说些什么。

两个段落就一个写positive一个写negative~这个问题很难诶。。。我瞎写的看看能不能帮你。。
positive consequences: two seperate group will become one and the society becomes more peaceful and grows stronger. for instance, before the civil war of us, the us government is not strong, but after the north and the south came together, the government becomes strong. 然后你在自己写几个elaboration.

negative consequeces:onw group will dominate the other,so the society will lose its variaty. 例子我想不起来= =就像两个不同的东西combine之后一个把另外一个吞噬了就从此消失了。and people need to get used to the changes after the combination of two crowds.
