English is very important in our modern society and it is important that we learn it well. First, we need to memorize lots of words and grammar rules. Without these two things, we cannot speak or write meaningful sentences. Next, we shall do more English readings on a variety of topics: from China Daily news to foreign website articles. Finally, we should also try watching English movies or TV dramas. These videos help us not only learn the English language but also the Western culture.
