Hello.This is Dan from China, who have met you a month ago in Sydney,Australia.I am writing to thank you for your great help while in Sydney.While I was traveling around Sydney,I suddenly fell ill.I had a stomache because of the bad food.I felt terrible with sweat all over.I had to stop my journey and lay by the road.Nobody helped me.I was feeling helpless when you came over to me.“What's wrong with you？”You asked me with a smile.I sat up and told you all.Hearing that,you didn't hesitate even for a second to take me to the nearest hospital.Thanks to your help,I was cured without delay and soon regained health. Ann,I am grateful for your kind help.I will never forget you.I hope you can come to China one day.

I went to Australia by myself during the summer vacation. I got to know Ann there. We talked in English and she showed me around Australia. We visited the Sydney Opera and went swimming in the sea. But unluckly, I suddenly fell ill, it was her who took me to a nearby hospital. She paid for me and took care of me while I was having an injection. Later she managed to stay with me and looked after so well that I soon got well. So I thanked her a lot. When it was time to say goodbye to her, we all cried and promised to get in touch. I also invited her to come to my hometown when she is free.

写作英式英语和美式英语的差别

written English, there is not much difference in British and American English except that the Americans have improvised it whereever they could to look different. Ex. If in British English u hire a Taxi, u hire a cab in USA. I shall give u a few more examples.
British English:( See the difference in the use of tense)Riya is not at home. She has gone shopping.
American English: Riya isn't at home; she went for shopping.
In British English, the correct present perfect tense has been used but the Americans have improvised to their convenience and made it past indefinite tense. Here r some more examples for u to study in vocabulary especially.

There r numerous examples with me which distinguish between British English and American Emglish. In accent, the use of the vowel a is made 90% as in ash, bash. In British English there are twenty vowels(speech sounds) but in American English there r only five speech sounds. This is how they have made English more easy, useful and practical.
