Multiculturali *** Is Better for U.S. Society
As a country which has absorbed a diverse group of immigrated people, multiculturali *** will be a wise choice for U.S. society nowadays. U.S. society has successfully bined more than one hundred races of immigrants since hundreds years ago. This is the way that U.S. society has already done, is doing, and will do in the future. Because of the mixture of different cultures, customs and habits, it is benefit to American society to encourage immigrants to maintain their uniqueness. It is not only for preventing cultural outflows but also for contributing to U.S. society. In other words, immigrants play two roles in the multiculturali *** . One is themselves and the other one is like a kind of “flavor”, such as a tomato in the salad bowl which makes the salad much more delicious with a special taste . Furthermore, multiculturali *** reflects the respect and fairness to people of different ethnic. Immigrants will not be forced to accept the local culture if they want to own the citizenship, it means they can do their own way like in their hometowns. In addition, the diversity in different races and religions brings some new things into the local society, as a kind of import without taxes. They are also a new group of workforces to the US social market. The local American citizens even don’t need to go abroad that they can learn new knowledge, techniques and civilizations from these immigrants easily; likewise, it indicates immigrants are wele and acceptable in the United States what makes them feel much better when they are in a new environment. All these above suggest that multiculturali *** is better for U.S. society, the only thing that Americans should do is to give their receptions.,2,《My College Life》我的大学生活
